About This Trip
The Kotilingeshwara Temple in Kolar, Karnataka, India, is a relatively young temple but a popular one, especially for devotees of Lord Shiva. 'Koti' in Kannada means 'crore' (ten million), and the temple lives up to its name with the world's tallest Shivalinga – a massive 108 feet tall! Inaugurated in 1980 by Swami Sambha Shiva Murthy, the temple complex houses not just this giant Shivalinga but also over 90 lakh (nine million) smaller Shivalingas spread over a vast 15 acres.
Itinerary
We will start from Bangalore at 08:00AM and reach Kolaramma Devi Temple(breakfast on the way). We stay there for around 45 mins.Then we go to Shri Someshwara Swamy Temple (45 mins). Go for lunch afterwards and then head to Kotilingeshwara Temple! We'll reach Kotilingeshwara Temple by 04:00 PM. Stay there for approx 1.5-2 hours and then leave afterwards. Places we visit during the trip -Kolaramma Devi Temple -Shri Someshwara Swamy Temple -Shri Kotilingeshwara Swamy Temple We will not stop for dinner and drop everyone to the same locations as pickup by 8-9PM! Pickup Location timings will depends on your trip start timing. Note: On the way pick up and drop is not possible, please don't request for on the way pick-up and drop

-In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternative feasible solution. However, a refund will not be applicable for the same. -Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned & are irrespective of the date of booking. -Ticket once rescheduled becomes non-refundable. -The food provided will be basic Vegetarian food. -Boz shall not be responsible for any of your belongings, valuables, jewelry, etc. -We expect every participant to be responsible for littering. Please keep every place we visit clean. -You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destinations to destinations. -We have designated pick up and drop points, make your own arrangements of transports to the desired pick-up point accordingly. -We may revise the Terms and Conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted. -Boz Trek is not responsible if any injuries or accidents occur during the event. -Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, causing delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their own transport to the way back, Boz does not hold the responsibility of terminated clients. -Littering, smoking & consumption of alcohol is banned outdoors or anytime during the trek. We will provide you with a time and place to enjoy your drinks. -If we cancel the event, we offer a full refund to all the participants. -We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior at the venue. -Rights of admission reserved.

-Cleanliness is Our top most priority.Please do not throw trash out anywhere in the open. -Your equipment and equipment distributed are to be carried by self, like bags, sticks, etc. -As you are exploring nature, don’t expect luxury. -You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destinations to destinations. -Boz is not responsible for misplacing/loss of any personal belongings -Our facilities are neat and basic, not luxurious. The average level of fitness is required to participate in the trek. We will not be responsible if any participant is unable to get to the summit due to their own limitations.

I have booked the trek, when will I get further updates regarding the trek?
You’ll receive a confirmation sms/mail of your booking after payment. You’ll be added to a WhatsApp group a day before the trip and information about trip coordinator, pickups, live location of bus etc will be shared there.
I'm a solo traveller. Can I join?
The interesting thing about travelling solo is that you get to meet new people from diverse backgrounds, and towards the end, you are no longer strangers. Hence solo travellers are always welcome to join us on our trips.
Is it safe for Women/Girls?
Safety and security are our priority at all times. Hence it is safe for women/girls to join us on our trips. Our trek leaders accompany the team at all times. We also have female trek leaders who accompany us on most of our treks.
Would I be able to postpone the trip to the future date in case I do not attend the trip on the day of departure?
We are extremely sorry, you cannot postpone to any future date in case you fail to attend the trek on the mentioned date for any reasons whatsoever ( family/health/work emergencies ). However, we can reschedule it if you inform us at least 3 days prior to the trip.
